Times
Your child can attend preschool for up to the equivalent of 15 hours per week for their 4 year old year, see the times below for Group A or Group B – this is structured as 5 full days a fortnight with the Wednesdays alternating between weeks. If your child is Aboriginal or a Child in Care they can attend from 3 years at 12 hours per week with the following options:
- 2 full days or
- half days in consultation with educators.

What to bring
Children need to bring these items each day:
- bag
- sun safe hat
- change of clothes
- drink bottle containing water
- healthy snack for morning and afternoon tea
- packed lunch.
Please write your child’s name on all their belongings.
What not to bring
Children should not bring these things:
- food containing nuts (some children have nut allergies that can be dangerous)
- unhealthy food or drink (lollies, chocolate, chips, fizzy drinks)
- toys from home- unless required for settling.
Additional Information
Kindergarten Hat and Uniform
Kindergarten hats and uniforms are available to order and purchase directly from the kindergarten. Please speak with a staff member for more information.
Please note that wearing the kindergarten uniform is not compulsory.
Birthdays
We love celebrating children’s birthdays at kindergarten. To support healthy eating and food safety, we kindly ask families not to send cakes.
If you wish, you may send uncut fruit, which kindergarten staff will prepare into a fruit platter to share as we sing Happy Birthday and make the day special for your child.
Community Book Library
Playgroup
Our playgroup is not running at this stage – if you would like to be a parent volunteer and organise one please contact Cath to discuss this process on (08) 8264 3025.
Immunisations
When you enrol your child you will be asked to provide evidence of their immunisation status.
